- I am a retired elementary school teacher from the OC, now living in the "Inter-mountain Region" in Shasta County. I write a column for our little paper, the East Valley Times, and I want to be Erma Bombeck when I grow up. My husband built a studio for me to work in and I spend a lot of time there making artsy things that pop into my mind. I like to travel and I also read a lot.
